Our Aim
As a charity we are serious; indeed our long-term aim is that by the year 2020 we hope to be raising a minimum of £250,000 every single year for clean water projects in Ethiopia. Although this is massively ambitious, with your help if we achieved this, it would help give between 40,000 to 50,000 Ethiopians each year access to the most basic of charitable needs; fresh clean water.
In the short-term we have managed to beat our year 1 £5000 target by raising £5373.60. We hope to beat this in year 2.
If we are able to reach our target and help between 40,000 to 50,000 Ethiopian’s each year by 2020 then this would be equivalent in number to helping all the supporters inside Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on a match day. Can you imagine if at half-time all of the fans and players in Anfield could only go and drink from the River Mersey?!
We joke yet this is the daily reality for millions in Ethiopia.
